DBAudit is a suite of programs that continuously monitor and record
statistics of Informix databases. Once configured, data is gathered from
all visible instances and databases and a series of graphs showing
a variety of metrics are generated. This data is summarised into
daily, weekly, monthly and finally yearly charts.
DBAudit will automatically detect whether the server, either local
or remote, has tablespace statistics active and gather data accordingly.
Any new database entities are automatically incorporated into the
data sets without any user intervention.
The latest code can be seen
here.
From time to time this area might be running the latest beta code and,
therefore there might be the odd hiccup and these can be reported
to whoops. The same address
can be used to discuss any aspect of DBAudit. Occasionally, you might
find the site misbehaving, that will be us upgrading to the latest version.
The site is normally back within a few minutes.
Included with DBAudit is a series of utilities we call
'The Rons', these
allow any Informix onstat command to be run from the command line of any 'Ron'
enabled server. Security is provided on a combination of per instance,
per server and per user basis and the existing trust relationship
between servers do not need to be altered
DBaudit is a companion program to DBWeb
