Moving Objects

You can move objects in a scene or data element by using arrow keys, by dragging the object to the desired location, or by modifying the location property of the object. Use the Scene Editor to move objects in scenes. Use the Data Element Editor to move objects in data elements.

To move an object using arrow keys

    1. Select the object in the Scene Editor or the Data Element Editor.

    2. Click the appropriate arrow key to move the object up, down, right, or left.

    The coordinates of the object are displayed in the Properties page of the Object Inspector.

To move an object by dragging

In the Scene Editor or the Data Element Editor, drag the object to the desired location.

The coordinates of the object are displayed in the Properties page of the Object Inspector.

To move an object by specifying the Location property

    1. Select the object in the Scene Editor or the Data Element Editor.

    2. Enter the desired coordinates in the Location cell in the Properties page of the Object Inspector.

    In the editor window, the object moves to the specified location.
