Element Locator

A locator for the horizon pattern, spiral pattern, and tree chart layouts. The Element Locator object is a child of these layout objects.

Valid properties for the Element Locator object are described in the following table.

ItemScaleFactor
Percentage
Incremental scale (zoom) factor to be applied to each subsequent data element.

LoopScaleFactor
Numeric
The factor by which the radius of each loop of the spiral decreases, representing the tightness of the spiral.

LoopCount
Numeric
The number of objects in each loop of the spiral.

MinVisScaleFactor
Percentage
Determines when a data element is too small to be displayed. The cumulative scaling for the nth data element is the current zoom factor, multiplied by the ItemScaleFactor scale factor n-1 times.

MaxVisScaleFactor
Percentage
Determines when a data element is too large to be displayed. The cumulative scaling for the nth data element is the current zoom factor, multiplied by the ItemScaleFactor scale factor n-1 times.
