- TAPEDEV
LTAPEDEV specifies the device to which the logical logs are backed up when
you use ontape for backups. LTAPEDEV also specifies
the device to which data is loaded or unloaded when you use the -l option of onload or onunload. If you are using LTAPEDEV to specify a device for onunload or onload, the same information for TAPEDEV
is relevant for LTAPEDEV.
Warning:
Do not set
LTAPEDEV to /dev/null or nul when
you use ON–Bar to back up logical logs.
