Privileges for the UDR

The CREATE FUNCTION and CREATE PROCEDURE statements assign the Execute privilege to the user who registers the UDR. Routine privileges for UDRs are stored in the sysprocauth system catalog table. By default, Execute privilege is granted to public. Whether you need to explicitly grant the Execute privilege for a UDR to other users depends on the whether or not the database is ANSI-compliant and on the setting of the NODEFDAC environment variable.
