Performing a Silent Installation

A silent installation requires no user interaction with the installation program.

To run a silent installation, you must:

1. Copy the silent.ini file from the top directory in the database server product folder (Iif) to a temporary directory.
2. Customize the silent.ini file.
3. Start the silent installation.

The last two steps are described in the following sections.
