Installing in Graphical Mode

This section describes how to install IBM Informix JDBC Driver in graphical mode.

To install IBM Informix JDBC Driver in graphical mode

Load the CD into the CD-ROM drive.
At the command prompt, execute the following command to launch the GUI:
```
java -cp <CD-ROM dir>/setup.jar run
```
To continue through the copyright statement, click Next.

Choose the option:

I accept the terms in the license agreement.

Click Next.

Browse to specify a directory in which to install the IBM Informix JDBC Driver or accept the default directory.
On a Windows platform, the default directory will be similar to:
```
C:\Program Files\IBM\Informix_JDBC_Driver
```

You will see the following message:

InstallShield Wizard has successfully installed IBM Informix JDBC Driver.
