Types of Users

This manual is for the following users who want to take advantage of write-once-read-many (WORM) optical media for storage of simple large objects:

• Database administrators
• Database server administrators

This manual assumes that you have the following background:

• A working knowledge of your computer, your operating system, and the utilities that your operating system provides
• Some experience working with relational databases or exposure to database concepts
