In This Chapter

This chapter describes the syntax and usage of the individual SQL statements that the Optical Subsystem provides to support optical-storage subsystems. The syntax of each statement is illustrated in a diagram that shows the sequence of the required and optional elements. For a description of the conventions used in these diagrams, see Syntax Diagrams of the Introduction. The SQL statements presented in this chapter are used exclusively with optical-storage subsystems. For additional information on the context in which each statement is used, see Using the Optical Subsystem.
