mi_get_money()

The mi_get_money() function copies a money value from a buffer regardless of alignment.

Syntax

mi_unsigned_char1 *mi_get_money(datap, stringp)

		mi_unsigned_char1 *datap;

		mi_money *stringp; 


datap
is a pointer to the buffer from which the money value is to be copied.

stringp
is a pointer to the buffer to which the money value is to be copied.

Usage

Use the mi_get_money() function to implement send and receive functions for user-defined data types when aligned values need to be read from possibly unaligned data buffers.

The returned address is advanced by the size of an mi_money type, to permit a subsequent copy.

Return Values

A new datap address.
