Preparing Your Environment
Test and debug your DataBlade module in a nonproduction Informix database server environment because debugging interferes with the operation of the database server.
Before you begin testing and debugging your DataBlade module, verify that Informix Dynamic Server is running properly. If you have not correctly configured your Informix database server, you might experience problems when debugging. See the
INFORMIX-Universal Server Administrator's Guide
for more information on configuring your Informix database server.
When testing your DataBlade module with BladeSmith generated tests, set the
TESTDB
environment variable to the name of your test database.
