Installing Connectivity Software

 You must install and configure Client SDK, Version 2.01, on any system on which you plan to install the Web component, if it is not already installed.

To install Client SDK

    1. Find the Client SDK directory on the CD-ROM and run the Setup program to install Client SDK. Choose the Custom Install Setup Type and the INFORMIX-Connect and INFORMIX-ESQL/C Install Components.

    2. Use SetNet32 to properly configure the Web server and database server systems.

    3. Reboot your system and proceed with the installation of Universal Web Connect.
