What Is an ActiveX Control?
ActiveX controls are small software components that you can deploy in a Web browser or a container application. For example, when you insert an ActiveMovie control into a scene in a Visionary world, your published world can display AVI or MPEG video files.
When you publish a Visionary world, your user views it by means of an ActiveX control called
Visionary Viewer
. You can present the Visionary Viewer control as part of a Web page, or you can include it in a container application that enables you to control navigation and support data input while the world is running.
