The Informix Developer Network Web site contains numerous white papers, tips for creating Visionary worlds, demonstration worlds and storyboards, a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page, and a newsgroup where you can ask questions and exchange information with other Visionary users.

Visionary includes on-line help, the Visionary InfoShelf, the Visionary Tutorial, release notes, and documentation notes.

On-Line Help

Visionary includes context-sensitive help that provides both overview and detailed reference information about Visionary concepts and procedures. For more information about on-line help, see "Using On-Line Help".

The Visionary InfoShelf

The Informix Visionary InfoShelf is an on-line library of Informix manuals relevant to Visionary. The manuals are provided in HTML format. To launch the InfoShelf, select Visionary InfoShelf from the Informix Visionary program group or choose Help

Launch Visionary InfoShelf in Visionary Studio.

The Visionary Tutorial

The Visionary Tutorial is Web browser-based and introduces basic terms, concepts, features, and functions of Visionary. For more information about the Tutorial, see "Using the Visionary Tutorial".

Release Notes and Documentation Notes

The following on-line release notes and documentation notes supplement the information provided in this manual.


On-Line File	Purpose
visdoc.txt	Describes features that are not covered in the manuals or that have been modified since publication.
Readme.txt	Describes feature differences from earlier versions of Informix products and how these differences might affect current products. This file also contains information about any known problems and their workarounds.

These files are located in the \Program Files\Informix Visionary directory. Please examine these files because they contain vital information about application and performance issues.
