1. In the Scenes panel of Visionary Studio, select the world in which you want to set a global parameter.
2. Right-click Global Parameters and select Insert Parameter to display the Insert Parameter dialog box.
3. Type a parameter name in the Name text box. The parameter name must be unique in the Visionary world.
4. Select a data type from the Data type list box.
5. You can type a parameter description in the Description text box.
6. Check the Has a default value check box if appropriate.
7. Check the Public at runtime check box to declare a public parameter. When you publish your world, the parameter is visible in the Runtime Settings dialog box.
8. Click OK.
