Valid properties for Matrix Pattern objects are described in the following table.

Property	Data Type	Description
Location	Point	x, y coordinates of the center of the layout.
Width	Numeric	Horizontal size of the overall layout. The height of the layout is determined by the number of rows needed to display all data elements, multiplied by the specified cell height.

When you set properties for Matrix Pattern objects, also specify properties for Cell Locator, Data Element, and Rectangle objects. The association between a Matrix Pattern object and supporting objects is represented in Figure A-7.
