Organization Chart

A type of layout that displays data in a tree structure that reads from top to bottom and is typically associated with a personnel hierarchy. The top level is typically the highest authority in the organization being charted. The organization chart is useful for displaying a cascading set of one-to-many relationships.

Valid properties for Organization Chart objects are described in the following table.

x, y coordinates of the center of the layout.

When you set properties for Organization Chart objects, also specify properties for Box Locator, Data Element, Parent Link, Child Link, Rectangle, and Text objects. The association between an Organization Chart object and supporting objects is represented in Figure A-9.
