Data Types, Casts, and Value Formats
In Visionary, Informix data types are used for queries, and Visionary data types are used for specifying properties in the Object Inspector. Visionary provides base data types, enumerated data types, data formats, type casting, and formatting symbols you can use when setting object properties.
Object property values must match the data type required for the specific object property. For information on objects, their properties, and required types, see
