Table 4 lists all Version 10.0, 9.x, 8.x, 7.x, and 5.1x IBM Informix database servers with the operating systems on which you can run them. Table 4 uses short names for the database servers. If you have Dynamic Server Version 9.40, 9.30, 9.2x, 7.3x, or 7.24, you can migrate directly to Dynamic Server Version 10.0, the current database server.
