In This Chapter This chapter describes how to install and uninstall INFORMIX-Universal Web Connect. You must run the installation program on each system on which one or both components of Universal Web Connect will run. Install the components in the following order: 1. Database component 2. Web server component Tip: During installation, Universal Web Connect writes status messages to the %INFORMIXDIR%\APB\STATUS.LOG file and error messages to the %INFORMIXDIR%\APB\ERR.LOG file. If you encounter any errors during installation, check these log files before attempting to reinstall.
