Uninstalling Universal Web Connect

 To uninstall Universal Web Connect, you must:

Uninstalling Universal Web Connect removes the product files but does not delete the AppPage Builder schema within the repository database. The old schema is automatically deleted when you reinstall Universal Web Connect.

To remove the Universal Web Connect product files

    1. Select INFORMIX-Universal Web Connect from the Add/Remove Programs applet in the Control Panel.

    2. Click Remove.

    A dialog box appears, confirming your request to delete the product files.

    3. Click OK.

Your Universal Web Connect installation is removed.

To edit your Netscape server configuration file

    1. Open the Netscape server configuration file, obj.conf.

    2. Remove the lines in the file that are surrounded by these comments:

After completing these steps, you can restart your Netscape server.
