Optimizing Spatial Queries If you are using a spatial DataBlade module or a DataBlade module that contains the Overlap() function, Visionary can optimize your spatial queries. The Overlap() function uses an R-tree index and returns only the data that is currently visible. To optimize spatial queries From the Scene Editor window, choose World Settings to display the World Database dialog box. If a spatial DataBlade module is detected in the active database, the Overlap() function automatically appears in the function template list box.
