You can create and store resources for use in more than one scene in a world. When you create a resource, it is inserted into the Resources panel, in the appropriate world folder. For more detailed information about colormaps, color sequences, stock images, and viewer classes, refer to the on-line help. Basic Steps The basic steps that you follow to add a resource to your world are:
1. Insert the resource into the world.
2. Select the type of resource you want to add in the Insert Resource dialog box.
3. Complete the dialog box for the particular resource.
Example When you add a stock image, you can add it directly to the scene and also to the Resources panel, or you can add it solely to the Resources panel. The following example adds the stock image solely to the Resources panel. To add a stock image to a world
1. Open the world.
2. Choose Insert Resource.
3. In the Insert Resource dialog box, select StockImage from the Resource type list box and click OK, as shown in Figure 11-2.

4. In the Insert Stock Image dialog box, navigate to the directory on your client computer that contains the image file, select the image file, and click Open. See Figure 11-3.

1. Double-click the scene containing the stock image to display the Scene Editor.
2. Select the Picture object from the Object Inspector list box.
3. Look at ImageSource property in the Object Inspector.

4. Select the Picture object in the Object Inspector.
