Horizon Pattern

A type of layout that displays data at an increasing distance from the viewer into an infinite horizon. Zooming in reveals more data in the distance, and zooming out shows more data closer to the viewer. The horizon pattern is useful for displaying data that is not mathematically related or analyzed.

Valid properties for Horizon Pattern objects are described in the following table.

When you set properties for a Horizon Pattern, you must also specify properties for Element Locator, Data Element, and Rectangle objects. The association between a Horizon Pattern object and supporting objects is represented in Figure A-5.
