Stock Chart

A type of layout that is used to show fluctuations in stock prices, or other value-based indexes, and volumes over time. The x-axis represents time, and two y-axes represent price and volume.

Valid properties for Stock Chart objects are described in the following table.

Point

x, y coordinates of the center of the plot area bounded by the frame.

PlotAreaWidth

Numeric

Width of the plot area.

PlotAreaHeight

Numeric

Height of the plot area.

When you set properties for Stock Chart objects, also specify properties for Frame, Date Axis, Price Axis, Volume Axis, Data Element, Stock Bar, and Volume Bar objects. The association between a Stock Chart object and supporting objects is represented in Figure A-13.
