-274 is the DELETE-privilege sibling of -272/-273: the account attempting the delete was never granted DELETE privilege on the table. Unlike SELECT/UPDATE, DELETE privilege is table-scoped only — there's no column-level variant, since deleting removes whole rows.

The account lacks DELETE privilege on the table — the table owner or DBA never granted it.
A newly created table where the DBA or owner forgot to grant DELETE to relevant users, roles, or PUBLIC.

Solutions / Resolution

Have the table owner or DBA grant DELETE privilege to the account (or to PUBLIC) for the table.
