Informix HPL message 23204: onpload terminated by signal
Message
Program: onpload
onpload terminated by signal
Oninit® Troubleshooting Guidance
What it means
onpload received an operating-system signal and is terminating. The job stops where it is.
Common causes
- Someone sent
killor pressed Ctrl-C, or a wrapper script timed out the job. - The session that started onpload ended (logout, closed terminal).
- The process was killed by the OS for another reason.
What to do
- Find out who or what sent the signal.
- Check the load log for the last record processed and how much was committed; in Express mode the table may be left in a modified state (see 23369 and 23418).
- Rerun the job; run it under
nohupor a scheduler if the session ended.
