Informix HPL message 23207: Internal Error, Invalid message type %d

What it means

onpload received a message of a type it does not recognise from its own queue. It is an internal consistency error.

Common causes

• Mixed versions of onpload and the other HPL components.
• A stray process wrote to the queue, or memory was corrupted.

What to do

• Verify onpload, ipload and onpladm all come from the same installation.
• Rerun; if it repeats contact Informix technical support.
