Informix HPL message 23291: Error occurred on record %d in file %s

What it means

An error occurred while onpload was processing a particular record in a particular input file. %d is the record number (large counts use 23478) and %s the file. It normally follows a more specific message.

Common causes

• The record failed conversion, was too long, or was rejected by the server.

What to do

• Read the message just before this one for the real cause; examine that record in the file.
