What it means

Fatal error: ipload tried to show its full-colour splash screen, but another process was already using the colour resources, so it could not load the X resource.

Common causes

• Another X application on the display is holding the colour map, so the splash screen colours cannot be allocated.

What to do

• Start ipload without the splash screen: ipload -n.
• UNIX only.
