Managing the Physical Log

The size of the physical log must be the same on both database servers. If you change the size and location of the physical log on the primary database server, this change is replicated to the secondary database server; however, the PHYSDBS and PHYSFILE parameters in the secondary ONCONFIG file are not updated. You must change these parameters manually by editing the ONCONFIG file. For the procedure for making this change, see Changing Database Server Configuration Parameters.

For information on changing the size and location of the physical log, refer to Managing the Physical Log.
