Completing an Express Installation

 The express option installs the Web and database components onto the same system. If this is the first time you are installing Universal Web Connect on this system, the express option uses default settings, listed in the following table.

If you have previously installed Universal Web Connect on this system, the existing settings are used, and all products are reconfigured as described in "Upgrading or Reinstalling Universal Web Connect".

To complete the express installation

    1. If you have more than one Netscape Web server, the Choose Netscape Web Server page appears. Select the server on which you want to install Universal Web Connect and click Next.

    2. The Installation Information Summary page appears, showing the components to install and the setting values. Click Next if the information is correct.

    A progress bar appears showing the progress of the installation.

    3. Check the box if you want to view the Release Notes file; then click Finish.

    The Restart Computer page appears.

    4. Click Yes or No. You should select Yes so that the configuration changes made by the installation program take effect immediately.

After completing these steps, installation is complete. See Chapter 3, "The Completed Installation," for information on configuring and starting Universal Web Connect.
