Informix v9.4 on Red Hat Folks, In case you want to know about upgrade to Informix v9.4 on Red Hat, I have successfully upgraded from Informix v9.3 to v9.4 on Red Hat using kernel 2.4.18-27.7x and glibc-2.3.2-4.80.6 You need to download RedHat's glibc-2.3.2-4.80.6 (see below). The following patch for RedHat's glibc needs to be installed to fix the problem: glibc-2.3.2-4.80.6.i686.rpm You can download this package from RedHat's ftp server or a mirror site, e.g. at the following URL: ftp://ftp-stud.fht-esslingen.de/pub/Mirrors/updates.redhat.com/8.0/en/os/i686/glibc-2.3.2-4.80.6.i686.rpm
