Yes, it makes a difference. The difference is, /dev/rmt0 will overwrite the
1st backup, /dev/nrmt0 will append it. The problem is, how will you
restore? ontape does not know how to find your archive on the tape if it
isn't the first thing on the tape, so if you use /dev/nrmt0, you have to
position the tape at the archive yourself. And if your archive spans
multiple tapes, it will bomb on the second tape. The only one that is
*supported* by Informix is /dev/rmt0 (rewinding).
