Denver: unix administrator

Seekers, We are looking for a savvy unix systems administrator, with c programming skills, preferrably with experience on Silicon Graphics equipment, and with knowledge of what relational databases (ie: Informix ONLINE) do to, and require of, an operating system. Our developing processing environment includes such visions as GIS and imaging applications, wide-area-network connections for both Dos and Unix clients, the eradication of tui in favor of gui, and anything else that may come along and looks good. Our state agency, Colorado Division of Water Resources, is headquartered in Denver, has 7 scenic field offices, employs about 200 interesting people, and is in the intense business of issuing well permits, administering water rights, measuring water supply, and checking dams for safety. If curious and tempted, contact me, a lonely and unsupported dba... ------------------------------------------------------ Jean Van Loan Colo. Div.
