If anyone wants that sort of arrangement I'm sure there are many that would be willing to consider it (Transmeta? Caldera? Red Hat? Linux International? Alan? David? Me? :-) ). I suspect every Linux developer has *something* they could really use but these companies that trot out the lack of support argument seem to expect to get it for free! (Do we assume Informix have such an agreement with SCO? There are bugs there which can be serious problems - such as the oss449 STREAMS stack corruption bug. Perhaps you are confusing political partnerships for marketing purposes with in depth kernel support?)
