If you would like to receive this free training, please fill out the signup sheet below and e-mail it Lisa Namphy at lnamphy@us.oracle.com. Designer/2000 supports the modelling of complex systems with business process reengineering (BPR), analysis, and design diagrammers. Developer/2000 empowers organizations with the ability to rapidly and productively build sophisticated systems which scale from workgroup to enterprise. With a common repository, flexible modelling and methodology support, a unified client and server development environment, and a portable open architecture, Designer/2000 and Developer/2000 are the industry's only second generation client/server design and development tools. The products represent a major enhancement, extending Oracle's offering with advanced support for distributed databases, replication, drag-and-drop application partitioning, scalability to tens of thousands of client/server users, full Windows (and Windows 95) support, full Macintosh support, full Motif support, character mode support, redesigned developer interfaces, improved performance, object oriented 4GL tools, a new emphasis on the individual and workgroup user, and full connectivity to all major databases. Oracle's product suite for end users and decision support analysts is Oracle Discoverer/2000. Discoverer/2000 enables people within all levels of the organization to gain immediate access to business information. Discoverer/2000 supports rapid querying and reporting, multi-dimensional analysis of Data Warehouses and powerful data mining. With a low maintenance meta-layer Discoverer/2000 empowers users to make critical business decisions by placing information at their fingertips. Visual graphs and strong drill down capabilities make Discoverer/2000 the unique second generation query and analysis tool for locating trends and exceptions.
