Although the vendor had no experience with Informix, the migration occurred faster than expected. The vendor used NewEra Viewpoint as well as the VB development tools. The workstation needed Visigenic ODBC Windows Driver and PC/Inet for Windows to connect with the database over the network. The server side had the Informix Online Engine and I-star (Informix 7.1 comes with I-star). It took the vendor one week to complete the migration process. Good Luck ---------- Robert
