Freeing sqlda in ESQL/C for Windows 5.01

As you all know DESCRIBE allocates memory for sqlda. Manual says you have to free sqlda yourself. But when I used struct sqlda far *pDA free(*pDA) It crashes in _iqlocatecursor. So I am using SqlFreeMem (look for prototype in sqlproto.h)I am not sure If it is freeing up sqlda. Also If I use free() to free sqlda, Who is going to free sqlvars in sqlda. When I try to free(&pDA->sqlvar[0]) it crashes. Any insights, any help is very much appreciated. Thanks -raj
