Thanks to all those who responded to my request for help using I-NET 4.1 on an ATT 6386 and a ATT 3B2. As June Tong pointed out to me, what was missing was the NONAMESERVER=1 env variable had not been set on my ATT 6386 machine. After adding this to my /etc/profile the connect time went from 30secs to ~1sec!! Thanks again, John Morris wupost!crest!jrm
