Since I live here in CHI-Town, I can tell you that there are a *LOT* of places to eat, drink, and gain weight. To determine where you want to go, the following information needs to be provided: 1) Hotel Location. Most likely you will have to cab it to the better locations. 2) Likes & Dislikes. There is the CLUB scene, Neighborhood bars, Places close to the hotels. 3) Price range. Depending on where you go, beers will be between $2.00 and up. Mixed drinks around $5.00 and up. (Prices vary with location, type of drinks, and what you want to leave as a tip.) There are also Micro Breweries too ..... 4) Bars to avoid: There are some bars which cater to the tourist trade, and no self-repsecting citizen of Chicago will go to. Some are also loud so trying to talk will be difficult. *** WARNING ***** There are certain bars which don't close until 3 - 5 am depending on the night of the week.
