Ben, The problem is that Slackware comes with i386 version of GLIBC, while Informix requires i686 version. Two significant modules are missing in i386 GLIBC (one _on_exit function in libpthread.so and GLIBC_PRIVATE section in libc.so) Just install GLIBC i686 package from SuSe 8 onto Your Slackware box -Alexey > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-informix-list@iiug.org [mailto:owner-informix-list@iiug.org] On > Behalf Of Thomas Ronayne > Sent: Thursday, March 31, 2005 8:01 AM > To: informix-list@iiug.org > Subject: Re: IIUG-IDS-9-4-UC2-linux Problems > > Ben Thompson wrote: > > > Thomas Ronayne wrote: > > > > A few guesses only I'm afraid as I haven't used Slackware for ages. > > > > Perhaps you just need to run "ldconfig" (as root) to pick up the link > > to the library you want.
