Mixed/Warm Restore Version 7.x

I have initiated a call with Informix on this... but perhaps someone else can help me. I have EXTREMELY large dbspaces (2-6 gig) in the same instance of Informix. I've segregated the data so that I could restore one dbspace/database without worrying about integrity in another. Therefore, I have several tape drives to back up concurrently (not consequetively)... and then I would like to warm restore. The warm restore works, puts the dbspace into a PI status, and then won't allow me to roll forward the logs. It says: No databases in recovery status... yet, it is still in "PI" status and won't let me access it. It is NOT rootdbs, logical logs, physical logs. Has anyone got a warm restore to work in ontape or onarchive. If you have, what were the "exact" commands that you typed in to do the backup and restore. Thanks!!!
