Upgrade 7.31 to 11.10 Lessons Learned

We are about to upgrade our IDS v7.31 to IDS v11.10. For those who have done this upgrade, can you please post some lessons learned? Where there any unexpected road blocks, upgrade / performance problems. Anything at all... Thank you

For very big tables that might be nearly impossible. What strategy appears correct? Any comments are appreciated. Reinhard.

I believe the upgrade is very fussy as well, to the extent that the upgrade will fail if it detects more than a single version of any table. I would consider it not worth the risk and would suggest a way must be found even for the largest of tables. However it's your data/livlihood !! Keith
