Re: 408 Problem with 7.0+???

I am seeing -408's from one or more of my processes. I have an open ticket with Informix over this. I have provided a stack dump and the signal which kills the process. ( SIGPIPE ) I am using 7.12.UC1 on DEC/Alpha's with OSF3.2C or D. The versions of the software are the same because I only have one set of disks for all my licenses. SIGPIPE says it all. But, I do not know why the server is dropping the pipe. Informix claims to be look- ing into the problem, but I am not sure how enthusiastic they are. Please see ticket # 423772. I can recompile the software to make the problem go away. But every other time I recompile, the problem creeps back in. To me, that sounds like a CM or compile time environment problem. However, I have not been able to trace it. I was hoping that Informix could provide some pointers, but no luck so far. Please let me know if you have any ideas or solutions.
