Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

I am trying to find a cross-platform development tool that will create a
character-mode executable to run on DOS machines against Paradox 4.0 tables
and on AIX and SCO machines against an Informix database using the 5.0
Informix engine. Can anyone tell me if Java and JDBC is an option? My
concern is that the Informix 5.0 database engine is so old that maybe there
is no support.
Many thanks from a Java/Informix newbie,
