I have protocol.h file, which supposed to be used from other C-sources as
include file. This file contains #include and #define directives and also
"typedef enum" statements.
I would like to include this file with INFORMIX $include directive:
$begin declare section;
$include "protocol.h";
$end declare section;
But ESQL/C compiler gives me a lot of errors like this:
esqlc: "protocol.h", line 6: Error -33051: Syntax error on identifier or symbol '#'.
esqlc: "protocol.h", line 116: Error -33200: Invalid statement on symbol 'enum'.
esqlc: "protocol.h", line 117: Error -33051: Syntax error on identifier or symbol '{'.
...
Does it mean, that I should create another .h file, specific for ESQL/C, which
does not contain any #-directives or enum statements? Or I'm just doing something
wrong?
If somebody can help with this, thank you in advance.
