Subtotals in Report 2

Gurus, I am trying to generate subtotals in a group thusly: after group of foo print column xxx, group sum (var) using ..... the problem is whenever var is zero NOTHING PRINTS!! Not even 0.00. var is define as MONEY(10,2). I am using Informix 5.0. Thanks in advance.
