Could not drop an External table in XPS

Hi There, I'm planning to drop two tables in my XPS 8.21, wich will be upgraded to a 8.5 version: tabname tabid partnum nrows ex_falt_day 467898 10065 2147483640 ex_falt_history 467897 10064 2147483640 I'm trying to drop these two tables in order to free some disk space but here comes the problem: In both statements, drop table ex_falt_day or drop table ex_falt_history; I have the same error: 211: Cannot read system catalog (syscolumns). 111: ISAM error: no record found. Then I've tried a dbschema : dbschema -d cellsat_biw -t ex_falt_day -ss dbschema -d cellsat_biw -t ex_falt_history -ss And again for both statements: DBSCHEMA Schema Utility INFORMIX-SQL Version 8.21.UD1 Copyright (C) Informix Software, Inc., 1984-1998 Software Serial Number AAC#J464553 100 - ISAM error: duplicate value for a record with unique key. So I decided to runs the onchecks, but here, at XPS we doesn't have it, we have the onutil utility: [informix@cgrserv04 cdr]$ onutil 1> CHECK CATALOGS; Validating database sysmaster Validating systables for database sysmaster Check executor internal error: -229 Query: select t.tabid, owner, tabname, rowsize, collength, coltype from informix.systables t, informix.syscolumns c WHERE t.tabid <= 610412 AND t.tabid = c.tabid AND tabtype IN ('T','V') AND t.rowsize != (SELECT SUM(collength) from informix.syscolumns where tabid = t.tabid) INTO TEMP oncheck_row_size Could not open or create a temporary file. The point is, I have 4 tempdbs with 523497 pages ( 4096kb/page) free, as you can see, all of its pages are free! And the onconfig parameter setted : DBSPACETEMP TEMP # Default temp dbspaces wich means in this enviroment: # TEMP - use only temporary dbspaces for temp files. Well, any suggestions are welcome! Kagel Hi Art, I tried both explicity set the dbspace list, and setting this parameter as is its in the Informix onconfig directions for this XPS version, and none of them worked. Any suggestions?
