Re: Picky .sig trend

Hello Cathy! How have you been? Well I hope. I have begun using this sig for the following reason. It was pointed out that folks from another vendor were taking posts from our newsgroup and showing them to potential clients saying "See all the problems informix users are having!" Another poster suggested that we add a sig so that companies couldn't use our posts for their gains. Often we say stuff here as users because this is an open forum, and we don't necessarily want that stuff published or used negatively. If you have a better wording or a better way to accomplish this, please let me know. It's not the wording that I'm in love with, it's the result. And yes the sig does appear to be a bit harsh to me also, but I don't know how to soften it and accomplish the same goal. Take care and I look forward to seeing you again at this year's conference!
